Starting in 1986, Delta Burke became well-known for her role as Suzanne Sugarbaker, the lead character in the CBS sitcom Designing Women. Although that credit is probably one of her more famous, Burke also appeared in other television series throughout the ’80s and ’90s.

From there, he had an illustrious stage career, moving on to film in 1966 with his role in Barefoot in Athens. From there, the rest, as they say, is history. He kept moving up the ranks in Hollywood for the next 50 plus years.
