Top 5 Apple Announcements At The Worldwide Developers Conference

Although the late Steve Jobs is no longer with us, all eyes are still on Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference. Each year, developers gather to hear the latest updates and products that Apple will be rolling out. This year, the event was held in San Jose on June 3rd. There, Apple made five important announcements.

The first was a new feature added to Apple Pro Display XDR that allows 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio with the ability to indefinitely sustain 1,000 nits of full-screen brightness. Moving forward, the Mac Pro Laptop will feature Afterburner, an accelerator card that decodes up to 6.3 billion pixels per second. Another update that is rolling out will offer software developers more customization options for the PadOS by opening up iPad’s programming interface. The iOS 13 for iPhone iOS 13 will improve photo editing and introduce a new “dark mode” option for users, and the watchOS 6 will have a new App Store included, allowing users to browse, pay for and download apps without a paired iPhone.
