Early And Upcoming 2019 Black Friday Deals: 4K TVs

Black Friday 2019 is packed full of 4K TV deals. While you can wait until Black Friday and fight your way through crowds of people, some specials have already been announced and are available early. We’ve compiled a list of Black Friday deals and compared them to already ongoing or previous sales. We discovered that some in-store deals are NOT worth fighting over while other deals could save you hundreds of dollars. We’ve listed TVs ranging from 40 to 70-inches.

40-Inch Vizio V405-G9 ($200) At TARGET And COSTCO

VIZIO V405-G9
Vizio
Vizio

If you’re new to the 4K scene and looking for a solid entry-level 4K TV you can’t go wrong with the 50-inch Video V405-G9. The TV is already selling for a rather low $240 on Target’s website and through Best Buy and Amazon, and now the retailer is dropping the price by $40 for Black Friday.

This is a solid choice if you’re looking for an upgrade from your 720P or 1080P TV and not particularly concerned with going crazy on added 4K features offered by some higher-end models. Both Cosco and Target are offering this great Black Friday TV deal.

43-Inch Insignia 4K Fire TV With Echo Dot ($229) At BEST BUY

Insignia NS-43DF710NA19
Insignia
Insignia

The Insignia NS-43DF710NA19 is only selling for a few dollars cheaper than its normal pricing at Best Buy but the company is throwing in an Amazon Echo Dot. This is a basic entry-level Smart TV that has mixed reviews.

This model is available right now so you can avoid the Black Friday crowds. In our opinion, it’s a fine option if you are looking for a secondary TV for a bedroom or other living space but you’re better off reading the rest of our list if you want some extra and welcomed performance improvements.

43-inch TCL 4K Roku ($220) at TARGET

TCL 43S421
TCL
TCL

The 43-inch TCL 4K Roku TV has performed “okay” in various online tests and it normally sells for around $229 so you won’t save much picking this 4K TV up at Target on Black Friday. We don’t know the model number on this TV right now but if it’s the 43S421 you can already pick it up at Walmart for $218.

If you’re in search of a secondary TV it’s not a bad deal but probably not worth the extra $10 you’ll save by waking up at 4 am and then fighting crowds to get your hands on this “deal.”

Samsung 43-Inch 4K Smart TV ($220) At TARGET

Samsung UN43NU6900
Samsung
Samsung

Samsung is known for making solid flat screens and the Samsung UN43NU6900 is no exception to that rule. This entry-level TV has decent reviews and normally sells for $280. With the price set at $220, that’s a pretty significant saving.

This particular model features a 120hz refresh rate which is a nice added feature for an entry-level option. Now for the better news, you can already buy this TV for $227.99 at Walmart and $229 at Best Buy.

43-Inch LG 4K Smart TV ($230) At DELL And BEST BUY

LG LED UM6910PUA
LG
LG

The LG 43″ LED UM6910PUA Series 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV (wow that is a mouthful) is available at both Dell and Best Buy. Both retailers are selling the TV for $230 but Dell will throw in a $25 eGift card. Reviews agree that the TV delivers decent HD capabilities but falls a little bit short when it comes to 4K and HDR playback.

This TV is already available for sale online at the price listed above. Black Friday Pro-Tip:Best Buy can tell you if the model you want is on display at a store near you. Visit the company’s website and look up the model number you are interested in buying.

50-Inch Onn 4K Roku TV ($148) At WALMART

50-inch Onn 4K Roku TV
Onn
Onn

There’s no model listed for this 50-inch Onn 4K Roku TV but it only costs $148 which is a steal. What we do know is that ONN is a Walmart-owned company which explains why the retailer can knock $100 off the normal pricing for Black Friday.

Several sites have speculated that it could be the ONA50UB19E05 model. There’s just one thing to keep in mind, this is one of the few 4K TVs on our list that doesn’t support HDR. Since this is a Walmart brand you won’t find it priced anywhere else.

49-Inch LG 49UM6900PUA ($270) At TARGET

LG 49UM6900PUA
LG
LG

The average price for the49-inchLG 49UM6900PUA is $300 which means you’ll save 10% by waking up early and heading to Target on Black Friday. Reviewers say the HD quality is good but HDR performance is poor on this entry-level TV.

If your main goal is to upgrade your current 1080P TV and you’re shopping on a budget, you’ll probably find this TV to be a very suitable model but judge for yourself by visiting Target ahead of Black Friday. Don’t want to leave the house? It’s listed right now at $279 Best Buy’s website.

50-Inch Westinghouse 4K Roku Smart TV ($150) at TARGET

50-Inch Westinghouse 4K Roku Smart TV
Westinghouse
Westinghouse

Target is selling a 50-inch Westinghouse TV for $150 but there’s one consideration we can’t resolve at this time: The TV doesn’t have a model number listed. This could be the currently $350 Westinghouse model the company currently sells or something completely different.

Black Friday Pro Tip: Sometimes retailers will sell a similar model to their typical option but with fewer features which allows for a much lower price point. If you can’t see the TV in action we suggest following the “buyer beware” mantra.

50-Inch Vizio 4K Smart TV ($248) at WALMART

Vizio D50x-G9
Vizio
Vizio

While Vizio is sold at many retailers these days, the Vizio D50x-G9 is mostly found at Walmart. At $248 this mid-sized 4K TV isn’t a bad deal. Typically the unit sells for $280 and Walmart’s last sale on the unit was $268. We’ve been pleasantly surprised with Vizio’s entry-level 4K TVs which have received moderate reviews.

The 4K and Ultra HD features are welcomed on a TV that won’t break the bank. This TV is already on sale at Walmart.com

50-Inch Samsung UN50NU6900 ($280) At BEST BUY, TARGET, And WALMART

Samsung UN50NU6900
Samsung
Samsung

Samsung is going all out with its 50-inch UN50NU6900 model, offering a $280 price tag at Best Buy, Walmart, and Target. The TV has been around since 2018 with a solid selling price of just $330. Heading out on Black Friday will save you approximately $50.

Reviewers agree that the TV provides okay HD and ultra-HD but it lacks the type of HDR performance we would expect from Samsung. In any case, it’s a good entry-level option for a very solid price. This TV is already on sale for $279 at all three retailers with the sale ending this Wednesday (November 27) at Target.

LG 55UK6090PUA 4K Doorbuster ($300) at BEST BUY

LG 55UK6090PUA
LG
LG

This 55-inch LG 4K TV isn’t going to break the bank but it also doesn’t provide the best 4K or HDR performance on the market. With a price tag of $300, though, we are willing to sacrifice a little bit of quality for a suitable TV.

Keep in mind, if you’re not comparing this TV side-by-side with other models, we’re almost positive you’ll be happy with any upgrade you are making from your current 720P or 1080P model. Ahead of Black Friday both Best Buy, Walmart, and Kohl’s have this TV listed at $379 so it truly is a great Black Friday deal.

Samsung 55-Inch 4K UN55NU6900 ($330) at BEST BUY, TARGET, And WALMART

Samsung 55-Inch 4K UN55NU6900
Samsung
Samsung

Here’s another across the board Samsung TV. This time the Best Buy, Target, and Walmart-based deal features 55-inches of 4K playback with a very nice $330 price tag.

The current price on this TV is $380 and reviewers have claimed nice HD and 4K playback. While HDR performance might be lacking to some degree, it’s still a solid option. As an added bonus, it ranks really well for its built-in sound system. This deal is already happening with Target pushing the price even lower to $327.99

55-Inch Vizio 4K Smart TV ($398) at WALMART (Online Only)

Vizio M556-G4
Vizio
Vizio

If you’re like us, heading out at 4 am on Black Friday sounds like a miserable idea. How about waking up early to buy a $398 4K TV with a 55-inch screen? The Vizio M556-G4 is currently listed at $500 on Vizio’s own website but it will be selling for $398 through Walmart.com on Black Friday.

HD and 4K playback are rated well for this TV while HDR has faired poorer, a common theme among many entry-level 4K options being sold this Black Friday. Just remember, you can only take advantage of this deal online. You can grab this deal right now and the TV has a 4.5-star rating with 169 reviews!

58-Inch Samsung 4K Smart TV ($380) at COSTCO

58-inch Samsung 4K Smart TV
Samsung
Samsung

The 58-inch Samsung 4K Smart TV selling for $380 at Costco on Black Friday doesn’t have a model number associated with the deal, so it might not be the model pictured. With that being said, TVs of this size at the bulk-purchase store typically range from $450 to $500.

Entry-level Samsung 4K TVs, in general, tend to fair well with general picture quality but suffer from HDR playback quality. Honestly, who cares, for $380 this 58-inch TV is going to sell out quickly on Black Friday 2019.

65-Inch Element 4K Roku TV ($280) At TARGET

65-Inch Element
Element
Element

This is another 4K Roku TV that doesn’t list a model number but for $280 this Element option might be a good choice for most people seeking out an entry-level big-screen option. While Element isn’t as well-known as some other brands on our list, reviews have said its HD quality is decent while 4K and HDR performance leaves something to be desired.

Even with some picture quality issues, the same size Element TVs have been on sale for above $400 which makes this a serious contender for budget shoppers.

65-Inch Hisense 4K Smart TV ($300) at BEST BUY

Hisense 65H6500F
Hisense
Hisense

This 65-Inch Hisense 4K Smart TV is honestly a steal at $300. The TV has okay reviews ranging from 3.5 to 4 stars on Amazon and Best Buy and for $300 and 65-inches that’s really not bad.

The Hisense 65H6500F is one of the few Android-based Smart TVs featured during Black Friday 2019 and with an average price between $499 and $599 we’re calling this a great doorbuster. It’s sure to go quickly though and Best Buy is handing out tickets for this 4K TV 1 hour before doors open at 8 am.

65-Inch LG 4K Smart TV ($480) at TARGET And Best Buy

4K 65UM6900PUA
LG
LG

The LG 4K 65UM6900PUA is a capable 4K TV with an excellent $480 price tag. Target is selling this TV on Black Friday but the listed price is already available on Best Buy’s website. Given that this TV has received mixed reviews, we think it’s worth checking out in person before making up your mind. This model is already $479.99 at Best Buy and Target but Target has the sale ending on Wednesday, November 27.

Black Friday Tip: Always check out picture quality in-store before making up your mind. Just remember, some retailers will downgrade signals on their lower-end TVs in order to entice shoppers into buying more expensive models.

65-Inch Sony 4K Smart TV ($700) – Best Buy

Sony XBR-65X800
Sony
Sony

This 65-Inch Sony 4K Smart TV is on sale right now for $700. Head to your local Best Buy and you can skip out on the Black Friday crowds altogether. The Sony XBR-65X800G is a capable 4K TV when it comes to HD and 4K picture.

Reviewers are not overly satisfied with HDR content playback but for 65-inches at $700 it’s something most viewers will let slide, especially when shopping for a massively sized TV on a budget.

65-Inch LG 4K OLED TV ($1800) At BEST BUY

LG OLED65B9PUA
LG
LG

This is another TV that’s on sale right now and for $1800 only Best Buy and Amazon seem to be offering this deal. The OLED65B9PUA typically sells for $2000. If you’re looking to up your game and you have nearly $2000 to drop on a TV after taxes this is a solid option.

OLED TVs will up your viewing game with superior picture quality that will immerse you in the TV watching experience. Keep in mind Costco is selling this same TV on Black Friday for $2000. Why wait in line when you can get it right now?

70-Inch Samsung 4K Smart TV ($550) At BEST BUY

Samsung UN70NU6070FXZA
Samsung
Samsung

This Samsung UN70NU6070FXZA is part of the 6 series and this price point is available from Best Buy right now. The 2160P – 4K UHD TV features HDR but the picture quality is lacking according to some reviewers. Given the massive size of this flat screen and its $550 price tag, we’re not surprised that it isn’t the crispest picture available.

Like many of the TVs on our list, this set does fine with basic HD playback but lacks when it comes to HDR. It’s a 2018 model and you can also pick it up in-store as a doorbuster on Black Friday.
